Title: No Levels, Yet I'm Invincible
Synopsis:
Ze was once Earth's ultimate overachiever. Now he's a rookie in another world.
He died saving someone and transmigrated, landing in a world that presented him with a hellish starter pack: a monster gathering in the Blackmist Forest.
The good news: he has a System.
The bad news: the System has no levels, stats, or skill tree. It only has two functions: kill monsters to collect coins, and spend coins to become invincible.
One coin = one second of genuine invincibility. Literally. This includes, but isn't limited to, physical immunity, reflecting magic, maxed-out poison resistance, ignoring the rules, and all sorts of supernatural effects like making the BOSS punch itself in the face.
And so, the world of Terra gradually went off the rails.
While a hero spends ten years mastering swordsmanship, Ze pulls out a coin. “One second. Done.”
When the Demon King rallies a million-strong army, Ze yawns. “Give me a minute to save up for a ten-pull.”
When an evil god whispers in an attempt to corrupt the world, Ze glances at his account balance. “Oh, my poverty reflected your attack back at you.”
This is the rather unserious tale of a savior who relies on scavenging trash and picking fights with monsters to spend his way to invincibility in another world.
A friendly warning: this story is full of speedruns, subverted tropes, and the protagonist's stingy use of “invincibility.”
“Just so we're clear, I'm not usually like this. It's mainly because the System gives me way too much.”, Ze, picking up slime mucus to exchange for coins as the world collapses behind him.
