The second time, he bumped into him, and the other boy rubbed his left shoulder and said, “I’m fine.” The third time, he said, “This is the third time we’ve met.” Gu Qian had no idea that this person’s arrival would gradually melt his cold, lonely life. Nor did he know that the boy who always smiled and approached him was hiding a story of his own. Only later did he realize The mountain, too, had been waiting for a bird. They had both been searching for a place to call home. You don’t have to search for light in the darkness, because you are the light yourself. And to me, the world is you.
