Synopsis
Five hundred years beneath Five Elements Mountain have left the defiant Great Sage with nothing but pent-up frustration.
A flash of Nüwa’s stone comes crashing down, and a chubby little bundle lands right in his arms. She opens her eyes and sweetly calls him “Father King.”
The little darling may not have many talents, but she’s maxed out three skills:
Asking for things: “Taotao wants this,” “I want a hug,” and she wants everything in the world. More, more, more!
Calling people family: She calls the Old Lord “Grandpa,” Guanyin “Grandma,” grabs the Jade Emperor by his dragon robe and claims him as her godfather, and pulls Fairy Sisters along to be her godmothers!
Settling trouble: There’s nothing her cute antics and new family connections can’t fix. And if she really can’t sort it out, she dives into her father’s arms.
The Great Sage Equal to Heaven remains stone-faced: “I have no father or mother. I’m not claiming any relatives or looking for a wife. I only love freedom.”
The next moment...
The little darling’s lips tremble. Five Elements Mountain shakes, and fine cracks appear in its seal.
Wukong caves in instantly: “Fine, fine, fine! Whoever you say is family is family. If you want to find your mother, we’ll find her!”
From then on, the whole Three Realms is abuzz:
The Great Sage Equal to Heaven has a little Nüwa ancestor now. From the Three Pure Ones and the Four Emperors above to demons and monsters below, everyone is this little darling’s relative.
The little darling clings to Wukong’s neck and swings happily, her baby voice irresistibly sweet:
“Father King, I want a pretty, pretty mommy too~”
Wukong looks heavenward and rubs his forehead:
What a calamity... But anyone who dares to keep my daughter from being happy will have their immortal roots smashed to bits by my cudgel!
Not bad, Wa Wa is so cute
