Journey to the West: The Legend of Sun Wukong, Master of My Own Fate

Journey to the West: The Legend of Sun Wukong, My Fate Is Mine to Decide

Five hundred years beneath the Five Elements Mountain, and all the world hopes I’ll submit to Buddhism.

The Heavenly Court wants me to bow my head, and the Buddhist sect wants me tamed. This so-called Journey to the West is nothing but a scheme to turn me into an obedient puppet.

But they’ve forgotten one thing:

I am Sun Wukong!

Born defiant, unmatched in battle!

If fate demands my submission, I’ll shatter the heavens!

If gods and Buddhas want me to accept my lot, I’ll fight my way up to Spirit Mountain!

If the Three Realms decide my destiny, I’ll rewrite heaven and earth!

I won’t follow their rules,

I don’t believe in what’s predestined,

And I won’t accept a single constraint!

With the golden headband in my hand, who dares stand in my way?

From this day on,

My fate is mine to decide, not Heaven’s!

I call the shots on this Journey to the West!
