Siheyuan: The Hardline Chief, Gun in Hand, Keeps the Whole Courtyard in Line

In 1960, the Security Department at Red Star Steelworks gets a “living King of Hell.” On his very first day, he catches Jia Zhangshi making a scene and Banggeng picking the lock to steal public funds!

The courtyard’s riffraff think this disabled veteran is an easy target. Yi Zhonghai even tries to throw his weight around as an elder, using moral pressure to force him to drop the case in front of everyone.

“Want to talk morality? The Security Department only cares about the law!” Li Jianguo sneers and draws his gun, handcuffing them on the spot. “You’re suspected of sabotaging national production and causing trouble. Take them all to the interrogation room!”

After binding to the Iron-Fisted Nation-Building System, he gets cutting-edge military technology every time he legally cracks down on these thugs!

Detain Banggeng, and he’s rewarded with [Blueprints for a Five-Axis CNC Machine Tool]. Investigate Yi Zhonghai, and he gets a [Model of the First-Generation Nuclear Reactor]!

Then one late night, more than a hundred military vehicles arrive, armed soldiers sealing off the entire courtyard. Several nationally renowned academicians, escorted by heavily armed troops, respectfully knock on Li Jianguo’s door. “Section Chief Li, the aircraft carrier blueprints you drew have been verified. Please come to the capital and take charge!”

The courtyard’s riffraff collapse in terror. “We just made you head of security. You’ve been secretly building nuclear weapons for the country?!”
