From the Start, I Transmigrated to the 1980s: The Whole Family Dotes on the Compound's Stepmom

[Period drama] [Adorable kids] [Medical luminary] [System power fantasy] [Rugged husband dotes on his wife]

Medicine has fallen into decline. Ji Ning, heir to a century-old family of physicians, starts out in the 1980s after transmigrating into the body of a delicate young educated woman forced to work in the countryside. To top it off, she becomes the stepmother of two children!

Everyone in the compound says the Huo family's country wife is hopelessly out of her depth, while her awful relatives are already looking forward to seeing her make a fool of herself.

To their surprise, she binds herself to the "Renowned Physicians Compendium" System. Hua Tuo teaches her surgery, Sun Simiao passes down the Thousand Golden Prescriptions, and Li Shizhen takes her out to find medicinal herbs. She crushes the competition with knowledge from a more advanced age, right in the 1980s, when everything is waiting to be rebuilt!

With acupuncture skills so masterful they seem almost magical, she brings a dying old general back from the brink, setting the country's medical community ablaze.

Huo Chen, the youngest steel-mill tycoon in the capital, feels deeply aggrieved. "My wife is too busy! She has patients to see and foreign guests to receive. I'm her husband, but I have to take a number just to see her!"

Behind closed doors, the stern, warm-hearted factory director turns out to be a devoted homemaker who does the laundry, cooks, and warms the bed. He spoils her and the two kids rotten!
