The Ming Imperial Ancestral Temple: Old Zhu Beats the Emperor Who Summoned the Mongols

In the fifteenth year of Hongwu, eight-year-old Imperial Grandson Zhu Xiongying is gravely ill.

To save his life, he rushes into the Imperial Ancestral Temple and reveals to Zhu Yuanzhang that he is a reader from the future!

The next moment, the Ming Dynasty's bizarre emperors from every generation are forcibly summoned to the temple.

Old Zhu looks at the God of War Zhu Qizhen and the cultivation-obsessed Jiajing Emperor, then angrily whips out a seven-wolf brand belt. “So you're the emperor who surrendered at the city gates? Today I'm going to beat you, you unfilial descendant, to death!”

Screams fill the ancestral temple. Outside, Zhu Xiongying's Eastern Palace Guards stand ready for battle.

When Old Zhu finally comes out after tiring himself out from beating them, he looks at his grandson's entourage and is utterly stunned.

“Grandson, who's that one-eyed man leading your horse?”

“Grandfather, that's Li Zicheng. He's an honest man.”

“And the armed guard with murder in his eyes?”

“Oh, that's Huang Chao. I hear he was a failed scholar.”

Zhu Yuanzhang's legs go weak, and he nearly cries. “You rebellious grandson! You've summoned every hellish butcher in history. Who exactly are you planning to rebel against?!”
