A Record of Strange Events in the Year of the Fire Horse

On the Lantern Festival night of 2026, my livestream went berserk.

A blood-red comment flashed across the screen: “Duck! Three people are hanging behind you!”

The instant I crouched, all 188 people in the livestream complex vanished on the spot.

A death game popped up on my phone:

[Viewers: 9,441,207]

[Lifespan available to redeem: 7 minutes, 33 seconds]

I used the viewers’ small donations to extend my life, completing one terrifying task after another in funeral homes, on ghost buses, and in morgues.

Then I discovered that the ID “Eyes of 1966,” which kept spoiling the dangers in the comments...

belonged to a woman who had died on this very same day sixty years ago.

She left me a note in the freezer:

“Welcome to the Bingwu Cycle. You are the 108th version of me.”

And the number of people watching my livestream had not changed in sixty years.

It turned out the 9,441,207 viewers had all been dead for a long time.
