Retired Soldier King: Risking My Life to Make a Fortune

Lin Ye, the ace of the Dragonflame Special Operations Brigade, spent eight years in the military and earned godlike battle honors, only to retire at the peak of his career.

Back in the city, he was good for nothing but fighting. He got rejected from every job and lay flat at home until he nearly grew mold.

Just as he was down to his last instant noodle, a text message hit him out of nowhere:

Mercenary job. Two million for seven days. You in?

Lin Ye grinned. “I may not be good at anything else, but I sure can fight.”

From then on, a madman appeared on battlefields around the world.

Sharp-tongued and always cracking jokes, he had his teammates laughing until they cramped up. He killed with every move, leaving enemies crying as they quit the game.

Rescuing hostages, escorting big shots, clearing enemy strongholds, turning the tables in the wilderness...

Wherever there was fighting, there were stories about him.

Other mercenaries risked their lives for money.

Lin Ye became a mercenary because he was bored out of his mind, and figured he might as well bully some amateurs.

Decisive and ruthless, never a bleeding heart;

hilarious and sharp-tongued, with unmatched combat skills.

He fought from the deserts of Africa to the wastelands of the Middle East, from the jungles of South America to the dark nights of Europe.

He served no country and bowed to no power.

He followed just one rule:

Pay me enough, and I'll kill; give me the job, and I'll take the blame.

They called him:

When the Wild Dog shows up, not a blade of grass
