The Matrix's Hidden Edge

Five years after her younger sister’s death, Shen Li receives an email from the dead. Hidden in it is the Eden conglomerate’s most despicable secret: so-called digital ascension uses the memories and consciousness of everyone in the city as fuel. To take revenge, she joins forces with a bounty hunter, an awakened AI, and a band of fugitives, fighting her way from the lower district to the heart of the Matrix. But as the truth draws near, she discovers that what she must bring down is not just one conglomerate, but the lies underpinning the entire world.
