Feng Shui for Unlocking Wealth

Activating wealth through feng shui means harmonizing the energy of a space, organizing its qi, and balancing the five elements so that wealth flows freely and gathers without dispersing, bringing success in one's career and abundant income. Feng shui holds that wealth does not appear from nowhere, but results from the resonance of one's environment, mindset, and actions. To activate wealth is to clear blockages in the flow of energy, welcome auspicious qi into the home, and secure the wealth storehouse.

The first step is to regulate qi and open its pathways. The front door is the qi entrance, so it should be clean and bright, with no clutter obstructing it, allowing wealth qi to enter freely. The entryway should provide a buffer to prevent wealth qi from rushing straight out through the home. Regularly clear clutter throughout the house and repair leaks and damaged items to prevent wealth qi from escaping. Keep the air flowing and the lighting soft, so the space feels full of life.

The second step is to activate the wealth areas. The living room's visible wealth corner, located diagonally opposite the entrance, and the southeastern wealth area should be kept clean, bright, and free from heavy objects or gloom. Place evergreen plants such as a money tree or jade plant to use the energy of wood to foster prosperity. Alternatively, display citrine, a wealth-attracting bowl, a Pixiu, or Five Emperor Coins to strengthen the energy that gathers wealth. Wealth areas should be peaceful, not cluttered, and should be regularly lit with warm light so wealth qi can gather and remain.

The third step is to balance the five elements. Follow the principle that mountains govern people and water governs wealth by arranging a water feature in moderation, with the water flowing inward and kept clear to symbolize the flow of wealth. Balance water and fire in the kitchen, and keep the rice jar full to symbolize a well-stocked household. Place sofas and beds against solid walls to represent the support of benefactors and a firm foundation. Let colors and furnishings follow the five elements: metal supports wealth, wood fosters growth, water enables flow, fire invigorates qi, and earth stabilizes the storehouse. When balanced, these elements bring lasting prosperity.
