Zhao Yang was a gifted graduate of a music conservatory. After struggling in the working world without finding a chance to shine, he set off on a hiking trip with a backpack. By chance, he transmigrated to a parallel world where the gender ratio was wildly uneven, with roughly thirty women for every man. The country required every man to marry seven wives. What was he supposed to do?
This is neither a brainless wish-fulfillment story nor the tired cliché of women throwing themselves at the male lead for no reason.
I’ve laid out the worldbuilding and its underlying logic clearly: even when women vastly outnumber men, the strongest always control the best resources. Daughters of wealthy families never struggle to find husbands. It’s always the people at the bottom who suffer.
The male lead doesn’t rely on his looks or cheat powers. He has no golden finger and no System. He conquers the world through talent and ability alone. I included the polygamy premise to explore reality and deep affection, not to indulge in wish fulfillment.
This book is heartbreaking. If you finish it without shedding a tear, you must be one tough guy.
The story is logically rigorous and true to human nature and ethics, without forcing characters to act stupidly. I often spend two or three days agonizing over a single plot point.
The only flaw is that the transmigration in Chapter One isn’t quite right. No matter how much I revise it, I can’t get it to work. The author has never transmigrated, after all, and that part is only there to explain the setting. You’ll have to read it anyway, even if you can barely stomach it, or the later chapters won’t make sense.
This is a heartfelt story with real weight, one that doesn’t cut corners.
It's very exciting. The author has a deep understanding to write a perfect work about more women and less men. The writing style is very unique and has its own flavor. It is very comfortable and resonant to read. It is better than ordinary works about more women but less men. It's good, it's not the same level. I hope the author will continue to work hard and update ten pictures a day 😄 Good works should not be buried
Very good idea, worth recommending
This novel is so exciting and beautiful. Everyone is welcome to read it.
