Synopsis

The bizarre descent came without warning. Countless ghosts ran rampant, and the human world became a living hell. There are no earth-shattering supernatural powers, no System that can defy fate, and no heart-wrenching romance. Humanity's only hope of survival is to cling on, treading carefully. Ghosts wield rules like blades, killing without a trace. One wrong word, one accidental touch, or even a single breath can trigger a death condition. To stay alive, people have no choice but to get dragged into the stories the ghosts have laid out, complete absurd tasks in the depths of despair, and endure every second of their grueling survival countdown. Everyone is on edge, seeing danger everywhere. Hunger and fear grind human nature to pieces: some betray their companions to save themselves, some turn on each other over supplies, and some sink into despair. While everyone else fears the ghosts and avoids breaking their rules, Lin Mo, a man born with moderate intellectual disability and intermittent psychosis, becomes the one exception in this world of the bizarre. He is slow and taciturn, with a mind that jumps from thought to thought. He doesn't understand fear or death, and the ghosts' intimidation has no hold over him. While others do everything they can to follow the rules, he insists on doing things his own way. While others avoid the ghosts at all costs, he wanders up to them with a foolish grin, testing them. While others are trapped by the stories with nowhere to turn, his uniquely foolish logic accidentally breaks the ghosts' closed loops of rules and throws their harvesting games into chaos. This is a battle of wits with no cheat powers, the ultimate showdown between foolishness and the uncanny, and a stark portrait of the desperate struggle between human nature and survival in an oppressive, bizarre world. Watch Lin Mo use madness to unravel sinister plots and foolishness to quell every evil, surviving a desperate world where everyone lives in fear to become its most absurd and powerful survivor!

The AI-Writing Army Is Coming: Do Ordinary Writers Still Have a Chance?

Recently, a huge wave of AI writers has flooded Fanfan. It's hard to tell whether these AI-written stories are real, and their quality is all over the place. Ordinary writers keep losing their share of the remaining traffic in this flood. What are we supposed to do?

Why Are All Infinite-Flow Stories Horror Scenarios Now?

I’m at my wit’s end. I’ve run out of books and want to find some infinite-flow stories, but everything I’ve come across is horror-themed. When infinite-flow first started, there were all kinds of themes. I don’t know why, but these days it seems like everyone assumes an infinite-flow story has to be a horror scenario…
