Tomb Raiding: From the Start, I Read Fortunes and Get Mistaken for a Member of the Old Nine Gates

Qi Ming: A transmigrator, with no father or mother.

His pockets are emptier than his face, and he’s nearly starving.

System: Go rob a tomb if you want to survive.

Qi Ming: ??? I’m a street fortune-teller. You want me to rob a tomb?

He has no choice. He has to survive.

So he grits his teeth and bluffs his new acquaintances, Hu Bayi and Wang Pangzi.

He puts on a show: “I’ll read your fortune with the Book of Changes and feng shui for free. If I’m wrong, you don’t pay!”

He also “accidentally” lets slip some details about the Longling Labyrinth.

Later, beneath Zhelong Mountain,

knife-toothed vipers leap from the water, and nursing spiders crawl out of the caves.

A red-haired zombie springs from a coffin.

Chased by them, Wang Pangzi yells, “Master Qi! Help!”

Qi Ming sighs.

With one palm strike, he snaps the zombie’s neck.

A qilin tattoo on his right arm glows with lightning.

Hu Yiba stares in stunned disbelief.

“What are you, really?”

Qi Ming shakes his arm.

“I really am just a street fortune-teller!”
