Disaster Chef: Cooking Up Greatness in the Apocalypse

Global disasters strike without warning. Extreme cold waves, prolonged droughts, and failed harvests follow one another, driving humanity to the brink of starvation. The culinary arts become the only means of survival: whoever can make food that is both filling and beneficial holds the advantage. Fu Xiang is an ordinary chef who has withdrawn from the world to live quietly. He seems gentle and disciplined, but beneath the surface lies an extreme possessiveness. He will not tolerate anyone infringing on his control of his cooking or the people he cares about. When disaster strikes, he relies on the golden finger of his awakened “Chef God System,” wielding ingredients as blades and cooking as a shield as he struggles to survive in a resource-starved apocalypse. But he never expects that his most trusted servant is actually a long-hidden traitor, secretly coveting his System and sabotaging his food supplies, repeatedly pushing him to the brink. To protect his home and stand out in the Chef God Tournament, Fu Xiang casts off his mild-mannered facade and fights his way out. Beset by natural disasters and betrayal, he hones his cooking skills, gathers allies, and rises step by step from an insignificant survivor into a Chef God who commands the fate of every palate and strikes fear into an entire region. The possessiveness he has kept under control will shine ever more brightly as he climbs to the top.
