My Brother Told Me to Go to Prison

My name is Chen Long, a third-tier college student who was just coasting through life, waiting to die. That is, until the day my older brother Chen Hu, the “underworld legend” serving a life sentence, escaped from prison. He found me covered in blood. The first thing he said was, “Xiaolong, I've paved a road for you. Turn yourself in and serve my life sentence for me.” I was so scared I nearly wet myself. But he shoved a bloodstained scrap of paper into my hand. It had just one name and an address on it. “Go find him. He'll help you. When you get out, the whole underworld will be yours.” Before I could react, the police burst through the door. My brother smiled as they took him away again. I was left clutching the scrap of paper, the brother of a wanted criminal, expelled from school, abandoned by my girlfriend, and scorned by everyone. With nowhere else to turn, I set out on the “road” he had mentioned. But when I found the man, the first “job” he gave me was to go to Yunhai City's biggest company, Longteng Group, and start out as a low-level janitor. I had no idea whether this filthy rag would polish my new life to a shine, or herald the bloody dawn of the entire underworld.
