[Rekindled romance + both leads reborn + devoted to each other]
Greedy, lustful, and secretly flirtatious woman x devoted, scheming, aloof male lead
Lin Zhi is reborn and wakes up to find that she's slept with her ex-boyfriend, who is also a murderer.
But that's not how things went in her previous life.
In her previous life, Lin Zhi was selling fried rice at a street stall when she started dating an aloof, refined man.
They lived together in a rented apartment for a year, shamelessly making out whenever they pleased.
On the eve of their breakup,
she dumped every dish he'd cooked into the trash.
To get rid of him, she brought a strange man home.
The aloof man, eyes red, forced out an ugly smile. “Do you really have to degrade yourself like this?”
The corner of her lips curled in disdain. “How is this degrading? How can respecting my own desires be degrading? What about you, groveling and begging with your tail between your legs? Isn't that degrading?”
Two years after they broke up, the news reported that the aloof man was a murderer.
One of his victims was her new husband, Fu Shiyan.
And she died soon after getting married, too.

After she is reborn,
the aloof man offers a high salary to hire a fried-rice cook.
Unable to resist the money, Lin Zhi becomes her ex-boyfriend's subordinate.
She secretly congratulates herself that her ex hasn't been reborn.
Otherwise, what she did in her previous life would have earned her a thorough roasting again and again.
Until one day, Fu Shiyan shows up at her door again, asking her to become Mrs. Fu.
With only a door between them, he pins her against it, eyes just as red as before. His voice trembles with anger. “This time, you are not marrying him!”
“What do you want? Money? Power? My body? I'll give you everything I have. I only ask you to look at me, just once.”
