Blazing the Trail: Starting an Arms Industry in Guangdong and Guangxi

He is a modern special forces soldier, codenamed "Lone Wolf."

He is a minor warlord in the two Guang provinces during the Republican era, ruling just three poor counties with no more than two thousand battered troops.

On the evening a massive army closes in, he opens his eyes and realizes he has become someone else.

Everyone thinks he's doomed. The enemy has over three thousand rifles, while half his own men are still armed with broadswords. But they don't know that the mind inside this body holds a hundred years of military history, a hundred years of industrial history, and a century's worth of lessons bought by a nation's blood and fire.

Starting with the ambush at Shimen'ao, he uses modern tactics to thrash the warlords.

Starting with handcrafting bullets in a ruined temple, he uses the fire of industry to ignite the two Guang provinces.

Starting with outsmarting foreign trading houses in Shanghai, he brings their production lines back home one by one.

From bloody battles to unification, from resistance against Japan to national resurgence...

In twenty-five years, he turns this country from helpless prey at the mercy of others into a mighty tiger towering over the East.
