The place you live is growing onto you.
A collection of independent short stories, each with a different kind of horror grown out of everyday life. The dampness in your rental that never goes away, takeout so delicious you can't stop eating, always check the back when you rent a place, do you know why people like eating pork...? Look back at your own room, and suddenly something feels wrong.
Every story begins with a scene you're familiar with: family, friends, renting a place, ordering takeout. You'll think, “Isn't this just my life?”
A collection of urban oddities that get more terrifying the longer you think about them. Recommended reading with the lights on.
How many stories can you make it through?
[Love of the Cockroach]: Three months after moving into a rental, her health improved. She didn't dare look down to see the price.
[Don't Rent the Backside]: The wallpaper on the north-facing wall was stripped away layer after layer. The innermost one... had been pasted on from the inside.
[Who's Best at Photoshop?]: Six people in the graduation photo, but only five heads. When I enlarged it for the fourth time, the blurry one turned around.
[Peering Through the Mirror]: I was always pressing my face to the peephole to look for people outside, never knowing that on the other side, it had been pressed face-to-face with me all night.
[The Child on the Third Floor]: Every night at midnight, a child ran around upstairs. I went up to knock, but the residents said they had no children. The running stopped. Then came the sound of crawling.
The earlier parts can't be deleted, so I recommend starting from Volume Eight or Nine.
Awesome, beautiful, why is such a beautiful book not popular [stunned][stunned][stunned]
It's good to read. Please read the next one soon.
It's a very good book. The author's writing is good. It's unexpectedly good. It seems that fewer people are reading it.
The writing is delicate and well written.
A pretty good book
Nice! Very nice! Super invincible and beautiful! Listening to the book makes my hair stand on end. The first story is not scary but disgusting. Personally, I think the second story is the scariest, with that kind of horror feeling. The other stories are also very interesting.
It's very good to watch, except for the first paragraph which is disgusting 🤮
I felt pretty good after reading it. Quite scary. There are several flaws. It would be better if the author revise it again.
It's a good read. It's different from other short ghost stories. But the whole story is too short and I can't read enough.
The unit story is very interesting
