Chen Yu was born into a family of top-tier tycoons. To escape their control, he concealed his identity and joined a creative studio on the verge of bankruptcy. There, he met Lu Chuan, a planner burdened with family responsibilities; Shen Xiaoyu, an intern convinced that hard work could accomplish anything; and Wu Peng, a small-time boss skilled at getting by. Using his resources behind the scenes, Chen Yu turned the studio’s fortunes around, and everyone came to see him as a “lucky charm.” But when his true identity was accidentally revealed, their former warmth and mutual support were torn apart in an instant by suspicion, jealousy, and demands. On one side was his family, ordering him to return and threatening to cut ties if he refused. On the other were his friends, accusing him of “pretending to be above it all while using them.” Chen Yu had to choose between the unreal life afforded by his silver spoon and genuine relationships forged through the gears of everyday life. His friends, too, had to rethink their beliefs about “fairness,” “hard work,” and “social class.”
