Journey to the West: The Sequel, The Master and Disciples Stir Up Mount Ling Again

Only after becoming a Buddha did he realize that Buddhas are prisoners, and that the pilgrimage for scriptures was a shocking scheme.

When the five travelers tear away Mount Lingshan’s hypocritical golden facade and retrace the westward road, paved with lies and sacrifice, the truth finally emerges: every trial was a calculated scheme, and every page of scripture was a shackle.

This time, they seek not to obtain anything, but to destroy. They will unite the Three Realms in rebellion, overthrow the divine order with dark intrigue, and awaken to their fate to rewrite the Mandate of Heaven.

This is an outright rebellion against the perfect ending, an ultimate expedition to challenge the highest gods in the name of freedom for all living beings.
