I wake up and find I’ve become Song Jiang.
Before I can even celebrate, I realize something is wrong with Liangshan. Wu Yong won’t stop talking about “KPI reviews,” Gongsun Sheng calls Taoist arts “quantum mechanics,” and even that dumb ox Li Kui pulls out a lighter instead of a pair of axes.
At least ninety of the 108 heroes are transmigrators, by my conservative estimate.
They’re split into two factions. One wants to rebel, overthrow the Song dynasty, and become emperor. The other wants to accept amnesty, clear their names, and rise to the top. Both sides are trying to win me over, thinking I’m an original, naive innocent.
But they don’t know that I’m the one who’s been hiding in plain sight all along.
I want neither rebellion nor amnesty.
What I want is to turn all 108 transmigrators into pawns in my hands.
Then flip the whole board.
