[Mystery and crime-solving + 1990s atmosphere + gritty realism + no cheat abilities + based on true cases + first-person narration]
In the twelfth lunar month of 1996, snow fell with a crunch, like bones being crushed underfoot.
Back then, solving crimes wasn’t about DNA. It took an old detective’s legs, a pack of Hongtashan cigarettes, and a stubborn determination to see things through to the bitter end.
I was a criminal investigator with the Jiangbei City Criminal Investigation Squad. I recorded a series of stories that had long been buried...
Snow blanketed Jiangbei, but some traces can’t be buried, no matter how heavily it falls.
It looks good, and the writing is good, but it is too real and depressing to watch. The ending must be that the bad guys get the fate they deserve, but the process is too long and difficult. Young people's ten years are over in a lifetime, and some people die at a young age.
The plot is very smooth, with many twists and turns, and the structure is complete. It is one of the better criminal investigation novels I have read recently.
Very detailed and awesome author, super beautiful
The writing is good, the narrative is very stable, it has a realistic understanding of the 1990s, and it doesn't pretend to be 13 and ignores twists and turns 👍
The content is novel and relevant to life, don't give up halfway.
There are relatively few personal and subjective plots, they are all about solving crimes and the main plot. I like it so much!
Linked to each other, logical and very beautiful!
Why is there no rating? It's very beautiful. I recommend it. 👍
Unexpectedly good-looking, I saw it when I was short of books. I have read the series Nine Drops of Water and Gazing Eyes before. This one is too short. I hope the author can write more.
It's wonderfully written and very attractive.
