Falling Deep Again

[Reunion after years apart + rekindled love + both leads are romantically inexperienced] Growing up dependent on others made Jiang Ning well-behaved and sensible from an early age. It wasn't until she met Jiang Huai'an that she seemed to develop a rebellious streak. Jiang Ning: “Once I've given you a hundred candies, you'll definitely fall head over heels for me. Want to bet?” Jiang Huai'an: “Good luck with that.” But they were worlds apart, as different as heaven and earth. That year, her parents died, her uncle became disabled, and Jiang Huai'an nearly died saving her… She was scared, so she ran away. She saw Jiang Huai'an again five years later. The boy she once knew was now dressed in a suit, with an air of refined aloofness. His indifferent gaze slid away from her. She didn't know that after the car accident, Jiang Huai'an had forgotten only her. She still thought that Jiang Huai'an had gotten his wish and gotten engaged to her best friend. Only Jiang Huai'an knew that even with his memories gone, he still wanted her after learning she had a boyfriend. So he played the victim and pressured her into taking responsibility for him. One day, Jiang Huai'an saw Jiang Ning packing her suitcase. Thinking she was about to leave again, his pent-up emotions erupted in an instant. He pinned her firmly against the wall and kissed her as if he had gone mad. As his kisses gradually softened, she gasped, “You misunderstood me.” After she explained, he looked like a child who had done something wrong, the corners of his eyes reddening. Jiang Ning: “Do you still want to keep going? Could you… be a little gentler?”
