On the Cangyuan Continent, a world of cultivation where strength determines one's standing, Yun Yi was a genius of a top sect. As he attempted to break through to the Nascent Soul stage, his beloved and his sworn brother betrayed him. His dantian was shattered, his meridians severed, and he plunged into an abyss thousands of feet deep. Ten years later, an obscure outer-sect odd-job disciple begins climbing from the very bottom, dismissed as a good-for-nothing. No one knows that a once-mighty Nascent Soul expert lies dormant within him. In this life, he trusts no one. He will cultivate only the Great Dao and follow only his own heart. When he stands once more before the enemies of his past, the entire Cangyuan Continent will tremble.
