She transmigrates as a doomed starlet in 1970s Hong Kong, and from the start a powerful tycoon is ready to exploit her?
Star agent Jiang Wan gives a cold laugh and throws him over her shoulder. Then she picks up Xie Zhixing, the underworld godfather who was supposed to die in a street shootout.
While other heroines cling to their male leads, she signs the future kingpin as one of her agency’s talent!
“Mr. Xie, want to go legit? I’ll make you a box-office champion for the next ten years. You help me clean house.”
Later, she steals the future film emperor from under the competition, tramples her fake best friend, makes a fortune in real estate and stocks, and becomes the entertainment queen feared by all of Hong Kong.
And the “washed-up” kingpin she made famous not only becomes the hottest villain on screen, but whispers in her ear every night, “Boss Jiang, when will it be my turn to be exploited?”
