Yan Yun: How Is My Soulmate a Cold, Aloof Campus Heartthrob?

[Esports + Campus Life + Sweet Romance + Mutual Devotion + Older-Boyfriend Type + Secret Identity Revealed]

How do you cope with the stress of your senior year? Su Qingyan’s way to unwind is to play one hour of Where Winds Meet every day.

While everyone else fights to become the best in the martial world, she runs all over the map with blueprints, obsessed with building houses and finding geese.

That is, until she runs into Cishu, the max-level powerhouse with the highest combat rating on the server.

She assumes he’s a cold, heartless loner, but he not only adds her as a friend first, he also turns into a considerate older-brother type.

He carries her through monster fights and leads the way through puzzles. He even explains physics problems over voice chat when she can’t solve one from the Wusan workbook!

“Let’s solve this force-analysis problem first, then I’ll take you through the dungeon.” The deep, rich male voice in her headset makes Su Qingyan feel like her ears are pregnant.

Later, Su Qingyan gets into A University, a prestigious school, just as she’d hoped.

At the welcome party, Gu Ci, the aloof campus heartthrob admired by the whole school, corners her backstage.

He looks down at her with a faint smile. His voice is exactly the same as it is in the game. “My little gaming partner, do you still need your big brother to teach you force analysis in real life?”

Her roommates are left speechless. “We were told online romances never survive meeting in person! And you call him an ordinary online friend?!”
