The 1980s: Hunting the Greater Khingan Range, With Granaries and Larders Full!

[Feel-good period drama + crack shot + hunting to get rich + ruthless and decisive]

Reborn in 1980, Wang Jianjun returns to the bitterly cold and impoverished Greater Khingan Range in Northeast China, carrying the memories of his previous life. Back then, he had been destitute and crippled, with a broken leg, and had eventually frozen to death on the street. Now he is back with a vengeance!

In this life, he swears to keep his family fed and warm, and to make sure the woman he loves never has to give her heart to the wrong man again!

From the start, he's so poor his pockets are echoing, and his family is gaunt and starving?

No problem! Wang Jianjun recalls a shocking secret from his previous life: behind the mountain temple ruins lie gold hidden by grave robbers and two Type 56 semi-automatic rifles!

With a gun in hand, follow me!

While others are still scraping by for a few work points, Wang Jianjun is already shouldering his rifle and turning the entire forest and snowy wilderness into his own cash machine!

A 200-pound wild boar king? One shot brings it down! Herds of roe deer? He picks them off one by one!

While other families are gnawing on coarse black bread, his family is feasting on pork belly stewed with pickled cabbage at every meal, and eating cracklings dipped in sugar until they can't take another bite!

He runs into bandits deep in the mountains, and they want to rob and kill him?

Wang Jianjun becomes the judge of the jungle, his gun blazing as he kills without hesitation! Your money, your goods, your horses: they're all mine now!

The woman he regretted losing in his previous life is now being forced by her own mother to marry an abusive gambling addict?

Wang Jianjun makes a grand entrance and slams a stack of bills on the table. “Six hundred yuan, right? I'll pay! From now on, this woman is mine!”

A hunting rifle in his left hand, his wife by his side, and a mountain of riches at his back: he sets out to make his fortune! See how this tough Northeast man uses a rifle to forge a thrilling golden age in the turbulent 1980s!
