This is a suspenseful supernatural novel about treasure appraisal and tomb raiding. It tells the story of Shi Songlin, who chances upon a jade pendant and gains the supernatural ability known as the “Ghost Eye.”
Forced to join a tomb-raiding gang, he survives one deadly ordeal after another and obtains an ancient casket. Later, the police dismantle the gang. Since Shi Songlin’s involvement was relatively minor, the head of an archaeological team bails him out, and he joins the team.
With Shi Songlin’s help, the archaeological team follows the clues provided by the ancient casket and uncovers a shocking secret.
