Investiture of the Gods: Jie Sect, Su Daji, Isn’t This Going Too Far?

[Investiture of the Gods | Jie Sect | Travel Between Two Worlds | Su Daji | Shamanic Cultivation | Trade Between Two Worlds | Defying Fate] Ye Yun transmigrates into the world of Investiture of the Gods and becomes an ordinary outer disciple of the Jie Sect at Biyou Palace. The great calamity of deification is on the horizon. King Zhou has yet to offer incense at the Nuwa Temple, and the Investiture of the Gods is already stirring beneath the surface. At death’s door, he merges with the remnant soul of an ancient shaman and unexpectedly activates an ancient treasure: a gate that lets him travel between two worlds. He holds passage between the Xuanhuang Realm and the Jiuli Realm! One is the grand world of Investiture of the Gods, where the immortal path flourishes and saints vie for power; the other is a wild land of the shamanic clans, where bloodlust runs high and shamanic arts reign. He trades pills for ferocious beast bones and shamanic artifacts for spirit stones, profiting between the two worlds and rising at astonishing speed. At this time, sixteen-year-old Su Daji, heir to the shamaness of the You Su tribe, is on the verge of awakening her shamanic bloodline. The nine-tailed fox is on its way to possess her body and fulfill the mission Nuwa gave it: to bring chaos to the Great Shang. Fate is set, the demon fox is coming, and the slaughter of the deification calamity draws closer with every step. Ye Yun intercepts Daji before she can be swept into the vortex of fate. “Nine-tailed fox, don’t bother coming. I’ll protect this girl.” He navigates the forces of the Jie Sect, the Chan Sect, and the human lords, while traveling between the two worlds and commanding the resources of the shamanic path. He will rewrite Daji’s destined fate as a tragic demon consort, and carve out a path to transcend the Investiture of the Gods, even as the saints scheme above.
