Splendid Republican Era: The Mad Young Master Qin Forces Me into His Love

Shen Qingci falls from being a top socialite to an impoverished orphan, forced to marry into the Qin family, a family of rough origins.

All of Shanghai waits to laugh as this "old-fashioned young lady" is tormented by a cruel mother-in-law and neglected by her dissolute husband.

On their wedding night, her husband, Qin Du, coldly tosses her a check. "My heart isn't yours. Don't waste your effort."

Shen Qingci calmly takes the money, then turns and knocks on the door of her cruel mother-in-law, Liu Sanniang.

"Mother, men may run off, but money won't. Let's go into the dock business together!"

And so, Shanghai is turned upside down.

When Shen Qingci, clad in a fox-fur coat, takes charge of a shipping empire and tramples her rival beneath her feet,

that young Master Qin, who once swore he would never fall in love, kneels in the rain, eyes bloodshot. "Qingqing, I'll give you all my money. Will you take me with you too?"
