The Chess Prisoner

[Dual male leads + a scheming character who turns dark + dual personalities + selfcest + hiding one's strength + mutual salvation + infinite-flow]

After an accident sends Qi You into a horror game, he gradually realizes that the seemingly unrelated levels are all connected. He isn't a player moving the pieces from outside the board, but a helpless prisoner trapped within the game.

The players who once despised him begin to look at him differently after they survive one life-or-death crisis after another at his side.

Qi You is weak at first and will suffer some unfair treatment, but he'll fight back fiercely once his strength grows. The story moves at a slower pace and focuses on suspenseful tales within each game level. Read with that in mind.

Someone: I'll always protect you... We're one and the same.

Someone: You said we were family... Family has to stay together forever.

Someone: Will you look at me?

Someone: You finally came back to see me...

Qi You isn't very strong at first and can be a bit of a pushover, so he'll have to put up with some indignities. Things get better once he grows stronger.

This story generally moves at a slower pace and focuses on the individual game levels. Keep that in mind before reading.
