The little princess of Qingqiu is struck by lightning while undergoing a trial, and her Nascent Soul is lured to the 1970s by the clucking of a chicken in the human world. She wakes up as Hu Lili, a sent-down youth!
The moment she opens her eyes, she sees the live chicken she’s been longing for and takes a bite... Ptooey! She’s got feathers and raw chicken blood all over her mouth.
The other sent-down youths are full of schemes?
Hu Lili can’t be bothered to compete with them, so she moves into a haunted house with her friend.
There are restless ghosts in the haunted house?
No big deal. Hu Lili, in her boundless compassion, helps them get revenge.
How did chasing after chicken end up making her a key employee of a special department?
Well, then. Qingqiu belongs to China, so of course she has to protect China. This mighty cultivator is going to fight her way to America!
