Honkai: Star Rail? Dreaming of the Mortal Realm! The Trailblazer's Viewing Experience

A crossover fanfic between the interactive novel Dreaming of the Mortal Realm and Honkai: Star Rail. The idea came to me after I recently played Dreaming of the Mortal Realm and suddenly wanted to write a watch-along story. I was also hopelessly hooked on Honkai: Star Rail (Currency Wars), so this story was born. I originally wanted to write an original watch-along story, but found that Dreaming of the Mortal Realm’s setting didn’t fit very well with the adventure genre I like, so for now, the premise is: The player is obsessed with Dual-Phase Paradise (and Currency Wars), and the people of Dreaming of the Mortal Realm miss her more and more. Their longing breaks through the eggshell between worlds and flows toward the Trailblazer, who is exploring Dual-Phase Paradise at that time. This powerful ripple catches the attention of Aha, who has been keeping an eye on Akivili. So the benevolent Aha gathers everyone in a dream and tosses in a Trailblazer from a point in time before they’ve visited Dreaming of the Mortal Realm, granting everyone their wish to reunite. This is a watch-along story based on the original, though not in a strict sense. It includes original settings, original plotlines, and self-insert elements. Apologies for any out-of-character moments, and apologies to everyone. Thank you. The Dreaming of the Mortal Realm setup: The heroine is in control of the Harem King route and rises to power. Xie Hui is her main favorite, followed by Yi Shuihan and Mudan. Yi Shuihan is on the Thousand-Point route; Xie Hui chose the reconciliation route; Li Ruyuan leans more toward a mutual appreciation between ruler and subject; Huer Ta is a tragic love story, probably? A Yan is a worthy ally and childhood playmate. Honkai: Star Rail is the setting for the crossover, and I’m fully immersing myself in it. Just don’t bring your ship wars to my doorstep. Both sides are watch-alongs of game plots, so it’s fine if you haven’t played the games. I’ll do my best to explain all the relevant storylines clearly.
