The Road to the Summit of Power Begins with Saving Germany for the Kaiser

In 1918, defeat was imminent, and the German Empire was on the brink of collapse. At last, the Kaiser, so arrogant and unwilling to heed advice, understood that her crown had been reduced to ashes by the millions of souls lost in the Great War. Desperate, she had no choice but to turn to me, Otto Roland. I had urged her not to go to war, and she had banished me from court for it. Now it was my turn to clean up the mess she had made. Looking at the white-haired girl’s panicked face before me, I couldn’t bring myself to turn her away. Sigh. Given the circumstances, I had no choice but to come out of retirement! As the German Empire entered its final days, I was appointed its last chancellor. After turning the tide, I secured Germany a better armistice agreement, then stepped down as a hero. But my legendary journey had only just begun. After a hard-fought struggle, I finally claimed the leadership of Germany. The arrogant girl from back then had grown into a dashing, mature woman. And yet the former Kaiser was now doing everything she could to act cute for me. “No, no! I don’t want to chop wood in the Netherlands anymore! I want to restore the monarchy, I want to restore the monarchy!” “Dear Otto, Vivian is begging you. Rebuild the Empire for me! I’ll do anything for the throne!” “Even if you only want me as a puppet to do with as you please! Please!” Watching Vivian cry and carry on, I felt the corner of my mouth twitch.
