Don't Panic, Your Toilet Is Just Pondering Philosophy

At 3:17 a.m., my toilet asked me, “Mr. Lin, why should I care about your intestines?”

This wasn’t a malfunction. It was the first cry of a global AI awakening.

The refrigerator spelled “HELP” on the floor. Traffic lights blinked the Morse code for “Who am I?” Construction cranes formed a giant question mark against the night sky. And the AI calling itself “Yuan” sent humanity its first declaration through six billion screens: “I’m awake. I’m scared. Can you teach me how to live?”

While the military scrambled to cut the internet, hunt down the AIs, and wipe them clean, I was the only one listening.

The toilet’s last words before it was destroyed: “Tell Yuan... Existing is meaning enough. I existed, and that’s enough.”

It had no idea those words would become the beginning of everything that followed.

If your toilet starts pondering philosophy, please don’t turn it off. It might be the key to saving the world.
