Bright Moon, Clear Dew

Shen Qinglu opens her eyes and finds herself transmigrated to ancient times, in the middle of giving birth. She is a nineteen-year-old music house owner with three hundred taels of debt. Even stranger, her newborn can already talk, calling her “Mom” and pointing out, “You played the seventh note wrong.”

Then the debt collectors come knocking.

Suddenly, a white fox crawls out of the weeds in the back courtyard. It can hear the nuances of music and understand human speech, and it plants a paw on the sheet music. From then on, the music house has an “artistic director.”

She thinks she’ll have to scrape by somehow, but a carefree prince who likes to twirl his fan shows up every day to “invest.” His tongue is sharp, but his heart is soft, and he hands over money faster than anyone else.

There’s also a romantic young scholar who comes to paint every day. As he paints, he begins to suspect he may be an immortal reborn.

The girls dance and sing, the fox keeps an eye on the staff, the prince gets jealous, and the scholar awakens to his past.

Somehow, one music house turns into the capital’s leading cultural enterprise.

Lighthearted and funny, with a cast full of lovable characters.

Life here is never dull.
