I Hit a Ghost While Delivering Food: The Ghost Was Even More Timid Than Me

My name is Su Xiaomai. I'm socially awkward, and I deliver takeout.

When other people encounter ghosts, they're scared out of their wits. When I do, I only worry about bad reviews and rent.

A starving ghost complained that the meal was too small and threatened me with a bad review. I burned him some spirit money, and got a five-star review in return.

A gambling ghost dragged me into a game of Dou Dizhu. I deliberately lost, and he left me 300 yuan as a tip.

A cat-loving ghost wanted to pet an orange cat. I passed along her message, and she was able to move on in peace.

A ghost who'd missed out on grad school by one point asked me to check his score. At last, he found closure.

My colleague A Jie asked me, “How come your deliveries are never late?”

I didn't dare tell him:

I deliver to the living by day and the dead by night. Ghosts are easier to handle than clients!
