Desecrating the Buddha’s Chosen One! The Unhinged Prince Goes on a Rampage

Palace intrigue + forced love + both are inexperienced in love + redemption (of sorts) + love and hate Yun Li, the seventh princess of Great Zhou, was born under an ill omen. Five years ago, Shi Qingchen, then the Imperial Preceptor and now a holy son who has renounced the world to enter a monastery, sent her north to marry into a foreign kingdom, claiming she was “ill-fated.” Everyone believed she had died in the northern hellscape. Little did they know that seven years later, she would return along a blood-soaked road, carrying the head of the King of the North. The girl who once wept and begged the Imperial Preceptor not to send her away was gone. In her place stood a madwoman who delighted in killing. As for Shi Qingchen, to suppress the karmic consequences of the divination he had made years ago, he had taken Buddhist vows and become the “Holy Son Wuwang,” worshipped by countless people and untouched by worldly dust. “Holy Son, you show mercy and save all the people under heaven. Why won’t you save me?” In front of the entire court, she lifted his chin, her bloodstained fingertips marking his monk’s robes. “If the Buddha won’t save me, then I’ll... drag the Buddha down to hell.”
