The Transmigrated Little Wife of the Regiment Commander

Modern office worker Lin Wanqiu wakes up to find herself a country woman in 1949. She’s not only gained a regimental commander husband, Chen Jianjun, whom she’s never met, but also three triplet sons, all under a year old. Seeing other officers of her generation complain about arranged marriages, she worries that her new “husband” might consider her a burden too. To her surprise, Chen Jianjun returns from battle and immediately brings her and the whole family to live with him at the military base.

At the military housing compound, some people mock her for being provincial, while others worry for her. Chen Jianjun, however, protects her without hesitation. “She’s my wife, and those are my children. Who gave anyone else the right to gossip about them?” Drawing on her modern knowledge, Lin Wanqiu raises the three little troublemakers into sturdy boys, keeps their home running smoothly, and quietly helps the troops solve one problem after another. From their awkward first meeting to a steady, growing reliance on each other, this arranged couple turns their life together into the military housing compound’s very own sweet romance.
