The Broken Wooden Boat

The homeless Li Shun collapsed from hunger at the mouth of an alley, and Guifen, who sold breakfast, took him in. They stayed together for half a lifetime, opened Shunfen Breakfast Shop, raised a daughter and a son, and saw their son marry and have children. Across three generations, amid the cluttered alleys, they turned ordinary days into a happy life with the warmth of everyday joys. After all, isn't everyone a ship sailing through life? As children, we shelter in our parents' harbor. As adults, we seek refuge in our partners' harbor. And when we're old, all we can do is turn to our children's harbor. But first, you need a partner, and children too!
