There’s always been a question I can’t resolve:
Why is life so exhausting?
What, exactly, has this age given us?
As the most insignificant drop in the tide of our times, what is the meaning of our existence?
I once searched for answers in other people’s stories, but came away empty-handed.
Feel-good power fantasies can’t give them to me. That isn’t my life.
Romance stories can’t either. I’m not that brave, nor am I that absurd. I think most people are like me.
Those questions churned day and night, and the feeling of suffocation grew heavier.
So I had no choice but to start writing.
I want to use the most ordinary lives to unravel the grandest of eras, and find the meaning of life for every ordinary person.
I want this book to help me resolve all the questions in my heart.
I’ll write as I search for answers.
So it’s bound to be a little “boring.” At least in the beginning, it will certainly be quiet and uneventful.
Just like ordinary you, ordinary me, ordinary them.
If you’re willing to keep reading, I sincerely thank you.
Thank you for being willing to join me in uncovering the answers hidden in an ordinary life.
