A Good Day in This World

For my first eight cycles of reincarnation, I was bound by fate every time.

As the Tang family's Keeper of the Bottle, destiny decreed that I was born to give everything to repair the world.

The world was out of balance, order was in turmoil, and everyone wanted me to compromise.

But I refused to accept my fate!

"Want me to sacrifice myself? I will never agree."

The moment I awakened, I broke free of fate and rewrote destiny!

My mysterious childhood friend, my dearest companions who stood by my side, and eight remnant souls all returned to their places. They all came for me.

The power of imbalance is no enemy, and the shackles of fate are no heaven.

We chose restoration over sacrifice, and companionship to break free from an ancient, unending bondage!

Repair the world? I'd rather live my life to the fullest!

After defying fate, I laid down my burdens and withdrew into the mortal world.

Only later did they learn

that I had given everything, not to become a god, nor for glory,

but to share three meals a day and all four seasons with the one I love, in a world that is just right.
