The Ninth Prince’s Consort in the Qing Dynasty: One Punch Makes the Ninth Prince Cry

[Qing Dynasty transmigration + comedy + super strength + farming + food + no angst + sweet romance]

Top chef and strongwoman Lin Qiuqiu wakes up one day in the body of a young lady from the Dong'e clan, awaiting selection for the imperial palace.

She has no interest in palace intrigue. She just wants to make money and find someone to provide her meals for the long haul.

By accident, she gets betrothed to Ninth Prince Yintang, historically known as the “richest and unluckiest” prince.

On their wedding night, Ninth Prince gives her a roguish smile. “All my money belongs to me. Don’t even think about…”

Crash!

Lin Qiuqiu takes apart the wedding bed with one hand and looks at him innocently. “Husband, what were you saying?”

Ninth Prince: “…I said you can manage all the money, while I focus on looking pretty.”

Married life:

Eighth Prince wants to get Ninth Prince involved in the succession struggle?

Lin Qiuqiu shoves a spoonful of exquisite braised pork into his mouth. “Eat your food and stop causing trouble!”

Tenth Prince wants to drag Ninth Prince into mischief?

Lin Qiuqiu lifts a stone lock with one hand. “Tenth Brother, want to practice with your sister-in-law?”

The Kangxi Emperor needs funds for his southern tour?

Lin Qiuqiu pulls out the banknotes she earned from farming. “Imperial Father, just sign an IOU. Nine out, thirteen back!”

This is a rollicking tale about a laid-back heroine with divine strength and peerless cooking skills. She just wants to live the lie-flat life of a wealthy woman, but ends up having to keep Ninth Prince in line with brute force, while feeding a whole bunch of princes until they become foodies. In the end, they all become carefree princes.

Ninth Prince: “My life is hard, but I won’t say it, because my wife’s cooking is just too delicious!”
