His Prescription for Affection

[Web novelist × Genius TCM doctor]

To fend off pressure to marry, bestselling web novelist Xu Yan signs a marriage contract with genius TCM doctor Liang Ziqian, and they tie the knot in a whirlwind wedding.

Afterward, Xu Yan expects them to treat each other with icy politeness, but she soon realizes something is off about her “contract husband.”

When she stays up late writing, he quietly brings her liver-nourishing tea and a late-night snack. When a fellow writer smears her, he shows up immediately with evidence. Even her greedy, haughty Shih Tzu, Tuantuan, quickly switches sides and becomes his little shadow.

When a female writer jealous of Xu Yan puts on a show of vulnerability and moves in close to Liang Ziqian, he simply steps back, polite but distant. Then he turns and gently draws Xu Yan into his arms, his voice clear: “Mrs. Liang, the air in here is bad. Let’s go home.”

Only then does Xu Yan realize: wasn’t this supposed to be a mutually beneficial arrangement? Why does it seem like he’s… taking it seriously?

Liang Ziqian watches her gradually come into her own, hiding the ring he bought long ago. Married first, love later? No, he’s been planning this all along.
