A Broken Temple from the Start, Building a Sect Across the Myriad Worlds

Lin Mo, a fourth-year civil engineering student, transmigrates. He finds himself in a cultivation world where people prey on one another, lying in an abandoned mountain god temple with nothing to his name and his life hanging by a thread. The good news is that he has activated the [Myriad Realms Sect-Building System]. The bad news is that the System says: “Host must establish a sect, or be eliminated.” And so Lin Mo begins his sect-building journey. The site must be backed by mountains and face water, the spiritual leyline must follow the principles of geomancy, the disciples' dormitories need good ventilation and natural light, and the mountain-protecting formation must incorporate modern ideas about defensive fortifications. While other cultivators toil away at cultivation, he draws blueprints. While they fight over treasures, he calculates costs. While they undergo tribulations, he... Wait, why has his sect already started collecting protection fees? When Lin Mo takes in a battered young woman in distress, he realizes things aren't so simple. The girl is none other than the last survivor of the Su family of the Immortal Realm. The people hunting her are already on their way. And his sect consists of only a run-down temple, three mu of poor farmland, and five newly recruited orphan disciples. What can he do? Lin Mo looks at the sect's blueprint he drew and silently picks up a hoe. “Then... let's start by building a great wall around the mountain.” This is the story of a civil engineer using a modern mindset to build infrastructure in the cultivation world. A legend that begins in a rundown temple and ends with one sect ruling the Three Realms!!!
