Chen Mo is a night-shift courier who spends every day delivering packages through the city streets and alleys from midnight to six in the morning. One night, he receives a strange order: the delivery address is the old Happy Home residential compound, in a part of the city that was demolished five years ago. Stranger still, the System lists the recipient as “Zhao Xiaomei,” with a note that reads, “Deliver this to myself five years ago.” Chen Mo assumes it’s a prank, but when he inexplicably rides his electric scooter toward the ruins, his life veers off its normal course for good. He begins to realize that after three in the morning, another group of “residents” seems to be active in the city. And the delivery slip in his hand has become a mysterious passage connecting two worlds.
