The Seventh Forbidden Layer

This apartment building has six ironclad rules:

Never open the door in the middle of the night. Never look through the peephole. Never knock on the walls. Never count the floors. Never ask about the seventh floor. Never trust anyone in the building.

On her first night after moving in, Su Wan heard something scratching inside the walls.

Like fingers. Or bones.

She thought she was imagining it, until an eye pressed up against the peephole in the dead of night.

Here, people go missing all the time. Going mad is the lucky outcome.

All the residents are silent, as if their tongues have been cut out.

That is, until she meets a man who also wanders the halls at night.

He is a former detective, marked by secrets and scars.

He says:

“There are no ghosts in this building. Just things that turn people into ghosts.”

Together, they pry open the walls, expose the lies, and break into the forbidden seventh floor.

In the depths of the darkness lie screams from more than a decade ago, the breathing of the living,

and a blood-soaked past that neither of them dares to remember.

When every door in the building opens at once,

all the neighbors stand outside, silently watching them

That is when this inescapable game of terror is only just beginning.
