I Thought I Was Pursuing a Fairy

[A lovestruck, possessive, protective, pure-hearted, devoted-dog top VS a gorgeous bottom who's cool on the outside, soft on the inside, and proud until he falls hard]

I thought she was a fairy. I pursued her for three months, bringing her breakfast, fixing her pipes, keeping her company on night shifts. She told me outright and hinted plenty of times that “I'm a guy,” but I just wouldn't take it to heart. I was hopelessly lovestruck. There was no saving me.

Then one day, the door opened. He was wearing a white T-shirt, his short hair wet, his Adam's apple clearly visible.

I froze.

He thought I couldn't accept it. His eyes reddened as he started to close the door.

I slapped a hand against it. There was only one thought in my mind: Damn, being a guy makes him even hotter!

He froze. “You knew I was a guy and you still...”

I dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring. “I don't care if you're a man or a woman. I want you, just as you are.”

Later, he asked how I'd been so open-minded back then.

I said, “Because you were always the one I liked.”

I just hadn't expected this guy to be naturally gay, and somewhere along the way, after I kept chasing him, he'd fallen for me too.
