I Grilled Kidneys in Front of Guanyin's Shrine, and the Bodhisattva Drooled

In his previous life, he was the “King of Street Barbecue.” After dying, he became a lowly temple sweeper at Mount Putuo in the South Sea, trampled by anyone who pleased.

Live on dew every day? No way!

The lofty Guanyin Bodhisattva has anorexia? Here’s my chance!

Chen Liaoyuan set up a charcoal grill in the Purple Bamboo Grove, with insanely spicy chicken wings in one hand and sizzling, oil-dripping kidneys in the other.

The aroma wafted over, and the aloof Bodhisattva instantly cracked: “That smell... Give me ten more skewers!”

From then on, the Three Realms took a wild turn:

The Supreme Lord Lao queued for three days just to get hot pot broth;

The King of Hell begged to open a “Hell Branch” franchise;

Even the Buddha was moved to tears by a bowl of spicy hotpot, crying out, “Excellent!”

“Who says the immortals only save all living beings? Today, I’ll save the divine with the warmth of human life!”

Watch a lowly temple attendant turn the heavens upside down with a handful of cumin, leaving the entire Three Realms drooling and in tears!
